About GSSSIETW, Mysuru

GSSSIETW, Mysuru is an initiative and outcome of (Late) Prof. B S Pandit, former Physics Professor from SJCE, Mysuru with a vision to provide quality technical education to girls. The institution was established in the year 2003 reflecting the ideals of its founder and seeks to achieve excellence as an academic institution with advanced research. Five Engineering branches ECE, CSE, ISE, TE and IT are accredited for three years by NBA, New Delhi, (Validity: 01-07-2017 to 30-06-2020). The institute offers 6 B.E Programs, 2 M. Tech Programs and MBA, all affiliated to VTU, Belagavi. The institution has professional forums like CSI, ISSA, IEEE, IETE, ISTE and ISOI. The College offers Ph.D. Programs in ECE, CSE, EIE, Mathematics, Chemistry and MBA. The Institute has successfully organized IEEE International Conference ICEECCOT during 2016, 2017 & 2018. Students have secured University ranks and received gold medals during the academic years 2014-15, 2015-16 & 2016-17. GSSSIETW has bagged the following accomplishment to its credit:

  • Recognized host institute by MSME, Govt. of India, New Delhi, for supporting entrepreneurial and managerial development of SMEs through Incubator.

  • Established Institution Innovation Council in association with AICTE & MHRD, New Delhi.

  • Recognized NI Lab View Academy School of National Instruments since December 2018.

  • Bagged 15 University Ranks till date.

About the Department

The department of ECE has a Professional and enthusiastic group of academicians who regularly involve in research with most of faculty members pursuing PhD in various research fields. The department has well equipped infrastructure support with the vision of quality based education. The department of ECE has established Program specific labs namely Embedded Systems, IoT, NI Labview, Cadence. The dept. of ECE has established an IETE student’s forum (ISF). Faculty members of ECE are members of IETE, ISTE, IEEE and other professional bodies. The department of ECE is recognized as a VTU Research centre, Belagavi

Conference Theme:

The Conference is an ideal forum for researchers to share their findings and thoughts with their fellow researchers across the world. This conference will serve as a platform for fruitful interaction among Research Scholars, Scientists, Academicians and members in the Industry. The main objective of this conference is to create awareness and to provide a perfect platform for the participants to upgrade their knowledge and experience and to discuss on the ways to disseminate the awareness of the latest developments and advances in the field of Engineering & Technology. This conference reflects the current focus of global research, recent developments, challenges and emerging trends in the field of Information, Communication & Data Science.
